The Mourner's Kaddish is a prayer praising God that is recited by mourners during the mourning period and on the anniversary (yahrzeit) of a loved one's death. Despite being associated with mourning, the prayer itself contains no mention of death and instead affirms faith in God.

Mi Sheberach is a prayer for healing that asks God to bless and heal those who are ill. It is traditionally recited during the Torah service in synagogue and can be said for anyone in need of physical or spiritual healing.

Jewish weddings include the Sheva Brachot (Seven Blessings), blessings over wine, the betrothal blessings, and the blessing as the groom places the ring. The ceremony also includes the reading of the ketubah (marriage contract).
