Jabotinsky Day 2042

Jabotinsky Day is observed on the 29th of Tammuz, the Hebrew date of Ze'ev Jabotinsky's death in 1940. Jabotinsky was a Zionist leader, orator, writer, and founder of the Revisionist Zionism movement. He advocated for Jewish self-defense and the establishment of a Jewish state on both sides of the Jordan River.

A state ceremony is held at Jabotinsky's grave on Mount Herzl, where his remains were reinterred in 1964 at the request of the Israeli government.
