לַמְנַצֵּחַ לְדָוִד מִזְמוֹר שִׁיר:
For the conductor, of David, a psalm, a song:
יָקוּם אֱלֹהִים יָפוּצוּ אוֹיְבָיו וְיָנוּסוּ מְשַׂנְאָיו מִפָּנָיו:
May God arise, may His enemies be scattered, and may those who hate Him flee from before Him:
כְּהִנְדֹּף עָשָׁן תִּנְדֹּף כְּהִמֵּס דּוֹנַג מִפְּנֵי אֵשׁ יֹאבְדוּ רְשָׁעִים מִפְּנֵי אֱלֹהִים:
As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; as wax melts before fire, may the wicked perish before God:
וְצַדִּיקִים יִשְׂמְחוּ יַעַלְצוּ לִפְנֵי אֱלֹהִים וְיָשִׂישׂוּ בְשִׂמְחָה:
But let the righteous rejoice, let them exult before God, and let them be glad with joy:
שִׁירוּ לֵאלֹהִים זַמְּרוּ שְׁמוֹ סֹלּוּ לָרֹכֵב בָּעֲרָבוֹת בְּיָהּ שְׁמוֹ וְעִלְזוּ לְפָנָיו:
Sing to God, make music to His name; extol Him who rides upon the plains, by Yah His name, and rejoice before Him:
אֲבִי יְתוֹמִים וְדַיַּן אַלְמָנוֹת אֱלֹהִים בִּמְעוֹן קָדְשׁוֹ:
A father to the orphans and a judge for the widows, God in His holy dwelling:
אֱלֹהִים מוֹשִׁיב יְחִידִים בַּיְתָה מוֹצִיא אֲסִירִים בַּכּוֹשָׁרוֹת אַךְ סוֹרְרִים שָׁכְנוּ צְחִיחָה:
God sets the solitary in families, He brings out the prisoners into prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a parched land:
אֱלֹהִים בְּצֵאתְךָ לִפְנֵי עַמֶּךָ בְּצַעְדְּךָ בִישִׁימוֹן סֶלָה:
O God, when You went forth before Your people, when You marched through the wilderness, selah:
אֶרֶץ רָעָשָׁה אַף שָׁמַיִם נָטְפוּ מִפְּנֵי אֱלֹהִים זֶה סִינַי מִפְּנֵי אֱלֹהִים אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל:
The earth trembled, even the heavens dripped before God, this Sinai, before God, the God of Israel:
גֶּשֶׁם נְדָבוֹת תָּנִיף אֱלֹהִים נַחֲלָתְךָ וְנִלְאָה אַתָּה כוֹנַנְתָּהּ:
A generous rain You poured down, O God; Your inheritance, when it languished, You established it:
חַיָּתְךָ יָשְׁבוּ בָהּ תָּכִין בְּטוֹבָתְךָ לֶעָנִי אֱלֹהִים:
Your flock settled in it; in Your goodness You provided for the poor, O God:
אֲדֹנָי יִתֶּן אֹמֶר הַמְבַשְּׂרוֹת צָבָא רָב:
The Lord gives the word; the women who proclaim it are a great host:
מַלְכֵי צְבָאוֹת יִדֹּדוּן יִדֹּדוּן וּנְוַת בַּיִת תְּחַלֵּק שָׁלָל:
Kings of armies flee, they flee, and she who remains at home divides the spoil:
אִם תִּשְׁכְּבוּן בֵּין שְׁפַתָּיִם כַּנְפֵי יוֹנָה נֶחְפָּה בַכֶּסֶף וְאֶבְרוֹתֶיהָ בִּירַקְרַק חָרוּץ:
Though you lie down among the sheepfolds, the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold:
בְּפָרֵשׂ שַׁדַּי מְלָכִים בָּהּ תַּשְׁלֵג בְּצַלְמוֹן:
When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it snowed on Zalmon:
הַר אֱלֹהִים הַר בָּשָׁן הַר גַּבְנֻנִּים הַר בָּשָׁן:
O mountain of God, mountain of Bashan, O many-peaked mountain, mountain of Bashan:
לָמָּה תְּרַצְּדוּן הָרִים גַּבְנֻנִּים הָהָר חָמַד אֱלֹהִים לְשִׁבְתּוֹ אַף יְהוָה יִשְׁכֹּן לָנֶצַח:
Why do you look with envy, O many-peaked mountains, at the mountain God desired for His dwelling? Indeed, the Lord will dwell there forever:
רֶכֶב אֱלֹהִים רִבֹּתַיִם אַלְפֵי שִׁנְאָן אֲדֹנָי בָם סִינַי בַּקֹּדֶשׁ:
The chariots of God are myriads, thousands upon thousands; the Lord is among them, Sinai in holiness:
עָלִיתָ לַמָּרוֹם שָׁבִיתָ שֶּׁבִי לָקַחְתָּ מַתָּנוֹת בָּאָדָם וְאַף סוֹרְרִים לִשְׁכֹּן יָהּ אֱלֹהִים:
You ascended on high, You led captivity captive; You received gifts among men, even among the rebellious, that the Lord God might dwell there:
בָּרוּךְ אֲדֹנָי יוֹם יוֹם יַעֲמָס לָנוּ הָאֵל יְשׁוּעָתֵנוּ סֶלָה:
Blessed be the Lord, day by day He bears our burden, the God of our salvation, selah:
הָאֵל לָנוּ אֵל לְמוֹשָׁעוֹת וְלֵיהוִה אֲדֹנָי לַמָּוֶת תּוֹצָאוֹת:
Our God is a God of salvations; and to the Lord God belong escapes from death:
אַךְ אֱלֹהִים יִמְחַץ רֹאשׁ אֹיְבָיו קָדְקֹד שֵׂעָר מִתְהַלֵּךְ בַּאֲשָׁמָיו:
But God will shatter the head of His enemies, the hairy crown of him who walks in his guilt:
אָמַר אֲדֹנָי מִבָּשָׁן אָשִׁיב אָשִׁיב מִמְּצֻלוֹת יָם:
The Lord said, From Bashan I will bring back, I will bring back from the depths of the sea:
לְמַעַן תִּמְחַץ רַגְלְךָ בְּדָם לְשׁוֹן כְּלָבֶיךָ מֵאֹיְבִים מִנֵּהוּ:
That your foot may wade in blood, that the tongue of your dogs may have its portion from your enemies:
רָאוּ הֲלִיכוֹתֶיךָ אֱלֹהִים הֲלִיכוֹת אֵלִי מַלְכִּי בַקֹּדֶשׁ:
They have seen Your processions, O God, the processions of my God, my King, in holiness:
קִדְּמוּ שָׁרִים אַחַר נֹגְנִים בְּתוֹךְ עֲלָמוֹת תּוֹפֵפוֹת:
The singers went before, the musicians followed after, in the midst of maidens beating tambourines:
בְּמַקְהֵלוֹת בָּרְכוּ אֱלֹהִים יְהוָה מִמְּקוֹר יִשְׂרָאֵל:
In assemblies bless God, the Lord, from the fountain of Israel:
שָׁם בִּנְיָמִן צָעִיר רֹדֵם שָׂרֵי יְהוּדָה רִגְמָתָם שָׂרֵי זְבֻלוּן שָׂרֵי נַפְתָּלִי:
There is Benjamin, the youngest, ruling them, the princes of Judah in their throng, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali:
צִוָּה אֱלֹהֶיךָ עֻזֶּךָ עוּזָּה אֱלֹהִים זוּ פָּעַלְתָּ לָּנוּ:
Your God has commanded your strength; strengthen, O God, what You have wrought for us:
מֵהֵיכָלֶךָ עַל יְרוּשָׁלִָם לְךָ יוֹבִילוּ מְלָכִים שָׁי:
From Your temple above Jerusalem, kings bring tribute to You:
גְּעַר חַיַּת קָנֶה עֲדַת אַבִּירִים בְּעֶגְלֵי עַמִּים מִתְרַפֵּס בְּרַצֵּי כָסֶף בִּזַּר עַמִּים קְרָבוֹת יֶחְפָּצוּ:
Rebuke the beast of the reeds, the herd of bulls with the calves of the peoples, trampling underfoot pieces of silver; He scatters the peoples who delight in war:
יֶאֱתָיוּ חַשְׁמַנִּים מִנִּי מִצְרָיִם כּוּשׁ תָּרִיץ יָדָיו לֵאלֹהִים:
Nobles shall come from Egypt; Cush shall hasten to stretch out her hands to God:
מַמְלְכוֹת הָאָרֶץ שִׁירוּ לֵאלֹהִים זַמְּרוּ אֲדֹנָי סֶלָה:
Kingdoms of the earth, sing to God, make music to the Lord, selah:
לָרֹכֵב בִּשְׁמֵי שְׁמֵי קֶדֶם הֵן יִתֵּן בְּקוֹלוֹ קוֹל עֹז:
To Him who rides upon the ancient highest heavens, behold, He sends forth His voice, a mighty voice:
תְּנוּ עֹז לֵאלֹהִים עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל גַּאֲוָתוֹ וְעֻזּוֹ בַּשְּׁחָקִים:
Ascribe strength to God, His majesty is over Israel, and His strength is in the skies:
נוֹרָא אֱלֹהִים מִמִּקְדָּשֶׁיךָ אֵל יִשְׂרָאֵל הוּא נֹתֵן עֹז וְתַעֲצֻמוֹת לָעָם בָּרוּךְ אֱלֹהִים:
Awesome is God from Your sanctuaries; the God of Israel, He gives strength and power to the people; blessed be God.
