טוֹב לוֹמַר זֹאת לִפְנֵי אֲמִירַת הָעֲשָׂרָה מִזְמוֹרִים
It is good to say this before reciting the ten psalms
הֲרֵינִי מְקַשֵׁר עַצְמִי בַּאֲמִירַת הָעֲשָׂרָה מִזְמוֹרִים אֵלּוּ לְכָל הַצַּדִּיקִים הָאֲמִתִּיִּים שֶׁבְּדוֹרֵנוּ. וּלְכָל הַצַּדִּיקִים הָאֲמִתִּים שׁוֹכְנֵי עָפָר. קְדוֹשִׁים אֲשֶׁר בָּאָרֶץ הֵמָּה. וּבִפְרָט לְרַבֵּנוּ הַקָּדוֹשׁ צַדִּיק יְסוֹד עוֹלָם נַחַל נוֹבֵעַ מְקוֹר חָכְמָה רַבֵּנוּ נַחְמָן בֶּן פֵיגֶא. זְכוּתָם יָגֵן עָלֵינוּ וְעַל כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל אָמֵן
I hereby bind myself, in saying these ten psalms, to all the true tzaddikim of our generation, and to all the true tzaddikim who rest in the dust, the holy ones who are in the earth; and especially to our holy master, the tzaddik who is the foundation of the world, the flowing brook, the fountain of wisdom, our master Nachman the son of Feiga. May their merit shield us and all Israel. Amen.
לְכוּ נְרַנְּנָה לַיהוָה נָרִיעָה לְצוּר יִשְׁעֵנוּ:
Come, let us sing praises to the Lord; let us shout to the rock of our salvation.
נְקַדְּמָה פָנָיו בְּתוֹדָה בִּזְמִרוֹת נָרִיעַ לוֹ:
Let us greet His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout to Him with songs.
כִּי אֵל גָּדוֹל יְהוָה וּמֶלֶךְ גָּדוֹל עַל כָּל אֱלֹהִים:
For the Lord is a great God and a great King over all divine powers.
הֲרֵינִי מְזַמֵּן אֶת פִּי לְהוֹדוֹת וּלְהַלֵּל וּלְשַׁבֵּחַ אֶת בּוֹרְאִי. לְשֵם יִחוּד קוּדְשָא בְּרִיךְ הוּא וּשְכִינְתֵּהּ בִּדְחִילוּ וּרְחִימוּ עַל יְדֵי הַהוּא טָמִיר וְנֶעְלַם בְּשֵׁם כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל:
I hereby prepare my mouth to give thanks, to praise, and to laud my Creator. For the sake of the unification of the Holy One, blessed be He, and His Divine Presence, in awe and in love, through the One who is hidden and concealed, in the name of all Israel.
