עָלֵינוּ לְשַׁבֵּחַ לַאֲדון הַכּל. לָתֵת גְּדֻלָּה לְיוצֵר בְּרֵאשִׁית. שֶׁלּא עָשנוּ כְּגויֵי הָאֲרָצות. וְלא שמָנוּ כְּמִשְׁפְּחות הָאֲדָמָה. שֶׁלּא שם חֶלְקֵנוּ כָּהֶם וְגורָלֵנוּ כְּכָל הֲמונָם: שֶׁהֵם מִשְׁתַּחֲוִים לְהֶבֶל וְרִיק וּמִתְפַּלְלִים אֶל אֵל לא יושִׁיעַ: וַאֲנַחְנוּ כּורְעִים וּמִשְׁתַּחֲוִים וּמודִים לִפְנֵי מֶלֶךְ מַלְכֵי הַמְּלָכִים הַקָּדושׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא: שֶׁהוּא נוטֶה שָׁמַיִם וְיוסֵד אָרֶץ. וּמושַׁב יְקָרו בַּשָּׁמַיִם מִמַּעַל. וּשְׁכִינַת עֻזּו בְּגָבְהֵי מְרומִים: הוּא אֱלהֵינוּ אֵין עוד. אֱמֶת מַלְכֵּנוּ. אֶפֶס זוּלָתו. כַּכָּתוּב בְּתורָתו. וְיָדַעְתָּ הַיּום וַהֲשֵׁבתָ אֶל לְבָבֶךָ. כִּי ה' הוּא הָאֱלהִים בַּשָּׁמַיִם מִמַּעַל וְעַל הָאָרֶץ מִתָּחַת. אֵין עוד:
It is our duty to praise the Master of all, to ascribe greatness to the Creator of the world, for He has not made us like the nations of the lands, nor placed us like the families of the earth; for He has not assigned our portion as theirs, nor our lot as all their multitudes. For they bow to vanity and emptiness and pray to a god who cannot save. But we bow, prostrate, and acknowledge before the Supreme King of Kings, the Holy One, Blessed be He.
He stretches out the heavens and establishes the earth, and His dwelling of glory is in the heavens above, and the abode of His strength is in the loftiest heights. He is our God; there is none else. Truly, our King, there is nothing beside Him, as it is written in His Torah: “You shall know this day and take it to heart that the Lord is God in the heavens above and on the earth below; there is none else.”
עַל כֵּן נְקַוֶּה לְּךָ ה' אֱלהֵינוּ לִרְאות מְהֵרָה בְּתִפְאֶרֶת עֻזֶּךָ. לְהַעֲבִיר גִּלּוּלִים מִן הָאָרֶץ. וְהָאֱלִילִים כָּרות יִכָּרֵתוּן. לְתַקֵּן עולָם בְּמַלְכוּת שַׁדַּי. וְכָל בְּנֵי בָשר יִקְרְאוּ בִשְׁמֶךָ לְהַפְנות אֵלֶיךָ כָּל רִשְׁעֵי אָרֶץ. יַכִּירוּ וְיֵדְעוּ כָּל יושְׁבֵי תֵבֵל. כִּי לְךָ תִּכְרַע כָּל בֶּרֶךְ. תִּשָּׁבַע כָּל לָשׁון. לְפָנֶיךָ ה' אֱלהֵינוּ יִכְרְעוּ וְיִפּלוּ. וְלִכְבוד שִׁמְךָ יְקָר יִתֵּנוּ. וִיקַבְּלוּ כֻלָּם אֶת על מַלְכוּתֶךָ. וְתִמְלךְ עֲלֵיהֶם מְהֵרָה לְעולָם וָעֶד. כִּי הַמַּלְכוּת שֶׁלְּךָ הִיא וּלְעולְמֵי עַד תִּמְלךְ בְּכָבוד. כַּכָּתוּב בְּתורָתֶךָ. ה' יִמְלךְ לְעולָם וָעֶד: וְנֶאֱמַר. וְהָיָה ה' לְמֶלֶךְ עַל כָּל הָאָרֶץ. בַּיּום הַהוּא יִהְיֶה ה' אֶחָד וּשְׁמו אֶחָד:
Therefore, we hope in You, Lord our God, to soon see the splendor of Your might: to remove idolatry from the earth, and the idols will be utterly cut off; to perfect the world under the sovereignty of the Almighty. Then all flesh will call upon Your name, to turn all the wicked of the earth to You. Let all inhabitants of the world recognize and know that to You every knee shall bend, and every tongue shall swear. Before You, Lord our God, they will bow and fall, and they will give glory to Your honored name. Let them all accept the yoke of Your kingdom, and may You soon reign over them forever and ever. For the kingdom is Yours, and forever and ever You will reign in glory, as it is written in Your Torah: “The Lord shall reign forever and ever.” And it is said: “And the Lord shall be King over all the earth; on that day, the Lord shall be One, and His name One.”
אַל תִּירָא מִפַּחַד פִּתְאם וּמִשּׁאַת רְשָׁעִים כִּי תָבא: עֻצוּ עֵצָה וְתֻפָר. דַּבְּרוּ דָבָר וְלא יָקוּם. כִּי עִמָּנוּ אֵל: וְעַד זִקְנָה אֲנִי הוּא. וְעַד שיבָה אֲנִי אֶסְבּל. אֲנִי עָשיתִי וַאֲנִי אֶשּא וַאֲנִי אֶסְבּל וַאֲמַלֵּט:
Do not fear sudden terror, nor the destruction of the wicked when it comes. Plan a scheme, but it will be foiled; speak a word, but it will not stand, for God is with us.
Even to your old age, I am He, and even to your gray hairs, I will sustain you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will deliver you.
