Blessed are You, Lord, our God, King of the universe, who chose good prophets, and was pleased with their words spoken in truth.

Blessed are You, Lord, who chooses the Torah, Moses His servant, Israel His people, and prophets of truth and righteousness.

And the reader, and the congregation reads it quietly. And after the Haftarah reading, say:

Our Redeemer, the Lord of hosts is His name, the Holy One of Israel.

Blessed are You, Lord, our God, King of the universe, Rock of all worlds, righteous in all generations, the faithful God, who says and does, speaks and fulfills, all of whose words are true and righteous. Faithful are You, Lord our God, and faithful are Your words, and not one of Your words returns empty, for You are a God, King faithful and merciful. Blessed are You, Lord, the God who is faithful in all His words.

Have mercy on Zion, for it is the home of our life, and save the soul in distress speedily in our days. Blessed are You, Lord, who makes Zion rejoice with her children.

Delight us, Lord our God, with Elijah the prophet, Your servant, and with the kingdom of the house of David, Your anointed. May he come speedily and gladden our hearts. No stranger will sit on his throne, and others will no longer inherit his glory, for by Your holy name You swore to him that his lamp will not be extinguished forever and ever. Blessed are You, Lord, Shield of David.

For the Torah, and for the service, and for the prophets, and for this Sabbath day that You gave us, Lord our God, for sanctity and rest, for honor and glory.
